The Extreme Dirty
Weekend 2007
Things are hotting up
for this year’s Extreme Dirty Weekend which will be
hitting Brighton Seafront again on the
26th
– 27th May!
Extreme Sports Channel are media partners this year and
will be promoting and covering the event so check
out www.extreme.com
for more updates. The
producer's of Channel 4's 'Freesports on 4'
series are also considering broadcasting this
year’s event.
There’s going to be a street course and a public bar this
year, alongside a load more world class skateboarders and
BMXers and a bigger line-up of DJ’s, MC’s and bands. This
is going to be one of the sickest events ever to take
place on the South Coast so make sure you don’t miss out!
Any companies that are interested in sponsorship or
exhibiting at the event, or would just like more
information and a media pack, drop us an email

The Extreme Dirty
Weekend 2006
The first ever
Extreme Dirty Weekend loudly and rudely imposed itself on
Brighton Seafront on the weekend 9th/10th September 2006
to the delight of many an action sports fan. Deep down,
we all knew there was something missing from the events
calendar, and this was it!
A handful of world class
skateboarding and BMX stars including Pete King, Andy
Scott, Zack Shaw and Jon Taylor shocked the massive
crowds with their incredible skills and provided a
weekend long Vert extravaganza for everyone on Brighton
Seafront. Alongside the ramp action there was some
bad-ass DJ talent including Vestax Champ JFB and DMC
Finalist, Buckwilde, alongside MC’s Tenshon and Ninety on
the mic.
The event was so sick that some people were
simply gobsmacked by what they saw! The Ground Zero/King
Ramps coalition proved an excellent recipe for a weekend
of vert mayhem and the success of the event has built a
solid foundation for an annual event.

The YES Network
The launch of The YES
Network, a series of innovative events for young
entrepreneurs, took place on the 15th November in the
Brighton Fringe Basement as part of Enterprise Week 2006.
Sussex Entrepreneur of the Year 2005/6, Jacky Misson
and Darren Fell, Founder of Pure, Winner of the Sussex
Small Business Award 2006/7, talked to the young audience
about their extraordinary experiences in setting up their
own companies.
The speakers were followed by a speed
networking session where many attendees made some useful
connections with other ambitious young locals. This type
of event is hugely beneficial to young entrepreneurs
interested in learning more about the pitfalls involved
in starting up and running a business.
